This 8 per pound regular skinless beef beef frank ships frozen in a foam cooler, arriving with an internal temp of 45°F or colder, and delivers an authentic "snap" when you bite.

Fully cooked, the Vienna Beef Frank can be prepared in various ways: steam it in 160-180°F water for 10 minutes, grill or broil it at 350°F for 10 minutes, deep fry it in high heat (350°F) oil for 2-3 minutes, or microwave it for 30 seconds on high. Cooking times may vary depending on the equipment used.

The "Chicago Style" hot dog history traces back to the Great Depression, when street cart hot dog vendors offered a delicious hot meal on a bun for only a nickel. The famous Chicago Style Hot Dog was born, featuring a Vienna Beef hot dog nestled in a steamed poppyseed bun and topped with a wonderful combination of toppings: yellow mustard, bright green relish, fresh chopped onions, juicy red tomato wedges, a kosher-style pickle spear, and a dash of celery salt.

Vienna Beef, founded in 1893 by Austrian-Hungarian immigrants Emil Reichel and Samuel Ladany, introduced their family frankfurter recipe at the legendary Columbian Exposition/World's Fair, where it became a hit.
